What is inside this new world called Eden Hills? You will be able to explore freely all these locations, without the need to go through a loading screen, from the farms & fields area to the town centre! But! There is now a huge open area around all these lots, filled with special locations that I call Open Venues. You still have 5 lots in the world, visible from the map view, that work exactly like you’d expect them too. If you have played with my last project called Brookheights, you have seen how you could visit special places outside of the lot you are playing with, without the use of a loading screen! This was called an Open-World.Ī semi-open world is a mix between my first project and how the worlds work currently in The Sims 4. More than this, if you use my World Edit mod, it is completely customizable! Welcome to Eden Hills! A new semi-open world that is going to replace a neighbourhood of your game called Sable Square (in Brindleton Bay). Hop on a plane, fly first class if you can afford to, visit the whole world and go to the City. Want a faster car? Go to the Vehicle Court in West Brookheights, you can buy a new one there! Oh and for those who want cars in The Sims 4, there’s a feature description that reads:īuy your own car and drive it! You can even route your car, giving you more control over how your sims drive. They can also get a job if they – get this – apply for a work visa. Sims can stay as long as they like if they pay their rent on time though. A bit like visiting Batuu in the Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu game pack, but not entirely. Sims can technically live there, they just can’t own the single lot. There are no loading screens in Brookheights and Sims can do things like rent a lodge in the Greenmount Forest, go to a Broadstreet Musical, drive a car, go to the gym, graveyard, outdoor-cinema, City Hall, grocery store and more. They are buildings that are either ?Open Venues? or ?Rabbitholes?. This was made possible when I started creating interactive shell buildings a few months ago. In Brookheights, there?s a single active lot in the middle, and a huge playable & interactive area all around. The way this open world works is different than the ones in The Sims 3 though.
